The Halifax Long March has been around for a long time. The first one took place in 1966 and we believe this makes the Halifax Long March the oldest event of its kind in the country.
The Halifax Long March is a sponsored walk which takes place at night. It is dark, there are hills, the weather is unpredictable and even more exciting, you don't know where you are going! Participants in this unique event are guided by marshals around a secret route. The route is changed every year so we can guarantee no-one has done the same route twice.
